The opening and closing parts of the globe valve are plug-shaped discs with flat or conical sealing surfaces. The disc moves in a straight line along the center line of the seat. According to the movement of the disc, the change of the seat opening is proportional to the disc travel. Because the stem opening or closing stroke of this kind of valve is relatively short, and has a very reliable cut-off function, and the change of the seat opening is proportional to the disc travel, it is very suitable for flow regulation. Therefore, this type of cut-off valve is very suitable for cut-off or regulation and throttling. It is widely used in various pipeline conditions in petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, pharmaceutical, power and other industries. The main driving modes are manual (hand wheel, bevel gear drive) electric, pneumatic and so on.
The sealing surface of disc and seat is made of iron-based alloy surfacing or Stellite cobalt-based cemented carbide surfacing, which has good wear resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and long service life.
The valve stem is tempered and nitrided with good corrosion resistance and rubbing resistance.
Various flange piping standards and flange sealing surface forms can be adopted to meet various engineering needs and user requirements.
The valve body material variety is complete, fillers and gaskets can be reasonably selected according to actual working conditions or user requirements, and can be applied to various pressure, temperature and medium working conditions.
Small working journey and short start-up and shut-down time.
During the opening and closing process, the friction between the sealing surfaces is small and wear-resistant.
The structure of globe valve body is straight through, direct current and right angle. Straight-through structure is the most common structure, but the flow resistance is large. DC fluid has less resistance and is mostly used for fluids with solid particles or high viscosity. The right-angle valve body is usually forged, which is suitable for globe valves with smaller diameter and higher pressure.
